I believe that everyone who reads our blog already knows that Belle had to have emergency surgery to repair a ruptured disk in her back last week. She is convalescing at home, and I am happy to report that she took a few steps this morning. Its been so very hard to see our little toont in pain and unable to walk. However, she continues to improve! Thanks for all the well wishes!
Here is a shot of Belle in the Beaner den- she's confined for 6 weeks. Its probably good that she's in the cage since she tried to come down the stairs on Sunday morning. She made it most of the way before tumbling- yikes!
PS- I have a very cool shot of her staples (all 19 of them) but decided against posting it on the blog.
