Christmas in Middleburg

I traveled to Middleburg, Va once a week back in my drug rep days. It was the high lights of my week, because Middleburg is such a nice place to be. Every year the town hosts a huge Christmas celebration, and every year there was some reason why we could not attend. Last weekend Pete, Charlie, and I finally made it out there for the Christmas parade. The day begins with the hunt parade: horses and hounds parade down Main Street before heading out to hunt foxes. Next, the actual Christmas parade takes place. The main attractions of the parade are the Welsh Corgis. There were about 100 Corgis walking in the parade! The Corgis were followed up by the Bassets and the Great Pyrenees. Charlie enjoyed the festivities from his vantage point on top of Pete's shoulders. All in all fantastic day!!
