Arlington Family Christmas

Three years ago the immediate Arlington family began "Arlington Family Christmas". Christmas was getting expensive in the Arlington Family, so we began a Secret Santa gift exchange. A gift exchange is not enough in this family- we need a feast as well. So the first year we had presents, veal marsala, and a fantastic time. The tradition has continued into this year and family Christmas was last Sunday at RC and Town's place with a ham feast and weather warm enough for us all to go out and play. Thanks Rob and Kelly!

I love giving presents more than pretty much anything else in life, so you can imagine that Secret Santa is a lot of fun for me. Over our three years there have been many funny and heartfelt gifts given. Some of the gifts include but are not limited to: an ice luge that fits in your freezer (consequently this got tossed off the balcony at 1804 on NYE), monogrammed cocktail napkins (still in use), boobie butter (hmmm), cooking magazines (RC needs all the help he can get), a gardening book ( I need all the help I can get), many books, many DVDs, and so many other fantastic gifts! This year Pete asked for 25 ho hos and Mad Dog 20/20, AND HE GOT IT! What are friends for? Family Christmas ranks at the top of my holiday list, and I had a great time this year as always- love you ATown Fam!
