Dirty martini, beef fillets with blue cheese cream sauce, baby beets, chocolate chip bread pudding, red wine, bourbon, lasagna, brownies, kase sahne cake, rock band, cougars, beer pong, and fantastic friends made for a wonderful birthday weekend!! I'm not going to lie- it's not fun turning 32. The fun filled weekend made it hurt much less. Thanks A-Town Family!!
When Pete and I lived in Hoboken, we got all of our cakes from Carlos' Bake Shop. Yes, this is the same one that is on tv. Since moving back to VA, we've had a hard time finding a good bakery. We decided to try out Heidelberg this go round for more than just doughnuts. WOW! The cakes are amazing. I went in and ordered a brownie cake (for Brandon) and a chocolate mousse cake (for Tom). Heidelberg!! I remember housing two entire cupcakes on a ride to Charlottesville a few years ago....We really missed you guys this weekend. Happy birthday, Jill-baby!
