Slacker

I know that slacker should be the new title of my blog.

Things have been rough around here. My mom is on the mend from some serious sickness that sent her to ICU on a ventilator for a week. She's getting stronger by the day but still has some work to do. In the interim, I have not done much. I'm trying to get work done but am so wiped- it's ridiculous. I don't think we realize what a toll emotional strain takes on our bodies.

Rip did come to stay with us last weekend. She was spoiled rotten while here and even forced Pete and I off the couch for some well needed exercise. Blurry shot but I had to act fast while they were not playing.



I'm off to Cumberland for work on Sunday and Monday. Here are a few shots from my trip back a few weeks ago. It really is pretty out there- who knew?! Pete is coming with me this time- makes for a better trip :) I think we are going to go hiking up there on Sunday. I will post when we get back.
