The Monsteri posted the first half of this blog. You can read about Francesinha there. Pete and I (and Nemo and Belle) took a quick, unexpected trip down to the Burg a few weeks ago. Angelica and Elliot cooked up a storm for us. This is the pre cooked version of Francesinha. I can tell you that I and Nemo, of course LOVED this dish. How could one not love this sausage goodness?!
We moved on to quiche in the morning. The advantage to not drinking Dark and Stormies all night is that I can get up early and cook (with Elliot's help, of course) up goodness for my wonderful family :-) Our trip to the Burg was wrapped up with the World Cup final- longest soccer game EVER! Pete and I hit up Tastee Treats on the way home. This is the restaurant with the large ice cream cone out front on the south side of 29. I do recommend you stop on your next trip. Pete got a soft serve milk shake that he LOVED! All in all great weekend, as usual!! The next Bentson rendezvous will be in A-Town mid August- can't wait!
