When we come home from a trip, our routine is always the same. I hop out, grab Belle, Belle checks out the front yard for squirrels, Pete grabs the bags, and into the house we all go. Well, yesterday upon arriving home from Lynchburg- Belle discovered something much more exciting than a silly squirrel. She ran to the front yard, looked up into her favorite tree and froze. I walked to the front of the house to see what could have her so intrigued to find these little eyes looking down at me.When we come home from a trip, our routine is always the same. They are tough to see but in the tree are two baby raccoons and one protective mama. They were tiny- smaller than a cat. We watched the little ones learning to climb- adorable!
