Pack Rats

Pete and I are pack rats. Anyone who has ever visited our house knows this. We are trying so hard to get the basement cleaned out in preparation for finishing the space. This is not an easy task for us because we are sooooo attached to everything down there. This includes our t-shirts. Between the two of us there were 80 t-shirts down there. We FINALLY decided to send them in the have quilts made (we only used 35 shirts each). Have you ever seen a t-shirt quilt? Sounds ridiculous I know, but they are so cool. Pete being meticulous like he is had to plan his quilt. The t-shirts are in chronological order from earliest years to latest starting in the left corner. Pretty neat- can't wait to see the finished product. If you too need to keep your t-shirts, I can direct you to the Quilt Loft who is making our quilts.
