Brandon came through on Friday headed to a Subaru sponsored race at Virginia International Raceway. We followed in his footsteps on Saturday to watch the race. Pete really enjoys road track races, especially now that he has been out in the Porsche. VIR is a beautiful track, and it was also one of Paul Newman's favorites. Interestingly enough, they have track villas?! It is as it seems, beautiful two level condos with a view of turn one. We got to watch some of the race up there- thanks Subaru.
We spent the night in Lynchburg on Saturday night, and had a great time with Tommy. The young Mr. and Mrs. just bought a fantastic house in the Rivermont neighborhood of Lynchburg. We couldn't be happier for them! Sadly, I took no pictures of their house but did get this cute shot of Tommy and Belle.
After a nice lunch with Franmother in Charlottesville, we made it home for some football and an early bedtime. All told, a great weekend with Belle in tow the whole way....
